Welcome to Role of Love.  My name is Paul Zolman, and this is my story.

Growing up, stories about my great-grandfather and grandfather, and personal experiences with my father, showed me that anger was the dominant emotion in tense situations.  Anger, with its sidekicks sarcasm and cynicism, was the source and springboard of humor and relationships in my family.  Because of this, friends weren't friends for long, extended family severed relationships, and neighbors stopped calling because they were emotionally exhausted from the put-downs and barbed comments.  I realized early on that there had to be a way to build positive relationships, and I sought to find ways to set aside anger and find LOVE.  Love inspires.  Love blesses.  Love invigorates.  Love gives life.  Love is indeed a way of life that will make the world a better place.  This is the objective with Role of Love.  To increase love in the world by having everyone make the conscious choice to share love every day in appropriate ways. 

When a person is raised without a focus of love, it becomes very difficult to be the best person you can be.  Even though you are raised with the very best of intentions, it's hard to develop relationships of love and respect when you have only been raised with anger and hostility. This is how I was raised; little emphasis on love, with swings of emotion and anger as the centerpiece. I have come to realize that the past generations of my family have had very little focus on love, and I have seen the impact it has had on my personal life and family.  As I have looked, searched, and experimented for a better way, I have found that the best source of strength has come by making a conscious, daily choice to share love.  As a result of this experimentation, Role of Love was founded.  I found a simple way to make sharing love in relationships a habit by practicing it daily.

By using Role of Love, each day is full of new adventures, new topics, and new fun ways to express your love for those you care about.

Each die for Role of Love is designed to quickly choose which "type" of love to focus on and learn more about that day. The icons are designed to be easily recalled when opportunities to share love are presented.  Role of Love will not take away the opportunities for other emotions, but rather provide an awareness and a vigilant attitude at the start of the day to choose to share love.  Imagine what would happen if everyone in the world woke up and decided to love a little better that day and share a little more love with everyone around them (including yourself!)  

What are you waiting for?
Just roll the dice.  The icon that appears is the “type” of love that you will focus on and practice sharing that day.  Throughout the day, focus on that particular type of love and share it!  Share it with family, friends, co-workers, your spouse, a stranger on the street...
